Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-25

Welcome to LIKING. These terms form the agreement between you and LIKING for your use of the service. By registering, signing in or using the service you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. What we provide

LIKING is a cross-border marketplace for graded cards (PSA, BGS, CGC and others), offering buy-now purchases, proxy bidding at auction, consignment and outright sale to the platform, collection management and card scanning, plus Aida, an AI collecting advisor.

Some features may roll out by region, account status or compliance requirement; anything labelled "coming soon" is not yet live.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and have full legal capacity. You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Identity verification is required before consignment, payouts, or once a compliance threshold is reached.

We may restrict or terminate your account if you breach these terms, are suspected of fraud, or where the law requires it.

3. AI advisor disclaimer

Aida's valuations, comparisons and suggestions are computed from public sales comparables or generated by a model. They are reference information only: they are not investment advice, carry no guarantee of accuracy or timeliness, and are not a commitment on price or execution.

Aida never places an order on your behalf. Every trade requires your explicit confirmation on the confirmation screen.

Do not rely on Aida's output as your only basis for a decision. Collectible prices fluctuate and you may lose money.

4. Purchases and payment

Item price, platform fee and total are as shown on the checkout screen and are computed deterministically by our backend. Payment is processed by Stripe.

At order time we re-verify that the item is still available. If it was bought by someone else before your payment completed, you are not charged (any authorisation is released) and the screen tells you so explicitly.

Cross-border orders may incur import duties and taxes; unless stated otherwise on the page, these are borne by the buyer.

5. Auctions and bidding

A bid is a **binding commitment** and cannot be withdrawn at will. When you submit a maximum bid we place a hold on the corresponding funds (no charge): if you win, we charge the winning price and create the order; if you lose or the auction is cancelled, the hold is released immediately.

Auction data follows the source marketplace; what we show is mirrored information and may lag. If a bid becomes void because the source marketplace cancels, reschedules or withdraws the lot, we release the funds but are not liable for any price difference.

6. Consignment and selling to us

For consignments we quote using the fee rate in force at quote time; that **rate is frozen as a snapshot** on the consignment record, so later rate changes do not affect an existing mandate.

You warrant that any card you consign or sell is lawfully yours, free of encumbrance, and that its grading label is genuine and unaltered. If verification shows otherwise we may refuse, return, or terminate the mandate at your cost.

Payouts are settled on the cycle and by the method stated on the mandate record.

7. Returns and disputes

Graded cards are unique items. If what arrives does not match the page description (card name, grading company and grade, certificate number), or is damaged in transit, contact us through the in-app support entry within 7 days of delivery and we will verify and arrange a return, replacement or refund.

Return requests based on personal preference or market price movement may be declined.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not: submit forged cards or tampered grading labels or items of unclear provenance; manipulate prices with sham bids; scrape or interfere with the service by automated means; circumvent the platform to trade off-site; infringe others' intellectual property; or engage in money laundering, smuggling or other unlawful activity.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LIKING is not liable for indirect, incidental or punitive damages, or for lost profits or business opportunities. For any dispute our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you actually paid us in connection with the transaction at issue.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including personal injury caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will update the date at the top; material changes are announced in-app. Continued use means acceptance.

Governing law and dispute resolution follow any mandatory rules applicable where you live. Absent such rules, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution first, failing which the dispute goes to the competent court at the seat of the platform's operating entity.
